Food handling permit – a value for Maid in Cambodia

Continuous training and education is very important to us. Not only is this of value to our staff, but for our founder and owners as well. We want to lead by example!
Today, Mrs. Tan, completed the Environmental Health Service Department and Preventive Medicine food handling course and obtained her food handler’s permit. Although this requirement is not necessary in Cambodia, we want to show our clients that we are serious in providing the best service we can.
How does this relate to Maid in Cambodia? Most of our staff does not get involved with the actually cooking part in the households, but many do help out with unpacking food, handling food equipment or utensils. Since we are more educated on this subject now, we can have the course material translated into Khmer and train our trainers! We want to keep you home safe & clean – always!
